    Adolph H. Goetz, 95, died Thursday, Sept. 2, 1993, at Hays Medical Center, Hays.
    He was born July 10, 1898, in Victoria, to Peter and Catherine (Dreiling) Goetz.
    He married Helen W. McGinty Galles Nov. 10, 1938, in LaCrosse.
    He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War I and a longtime resident of the LaCrosse area. He worked as postmaster in La-Crosse for 33 years until his retirement in 1970. He was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church, the 60-plus club, VFW post No. 3147 and a fourth-degree member of the Knights of Columbus council No. 2970, all of LaCrosse.
    Survivors include two daughters, Phyllis Hooker, Oakley, and Mary Kay Brown, Hays; and 10 grandchildren and nine greatgrandchildren.
    He was preceded in death one daughter, three brothers and one sister.
    Services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Michael Catholic Church, LaCrosse, with Father Eugene Kenny officiating; burial in the LaCrosse City Cemetery with full military honors by the Fort Hays VFW. A vigil service is scheduled for 7:30 tonight at Janousek Funeral Home, LaCrosse, followed by a Knights of Columbus rosary. The family suggests memorials to the Rush County Nursing Home.

    Helen W. Goctz, 82, died June 4, 1990, at Rush County Memorial Hospital, La Crosse.
    She was born Nov. 16, 1907, at Great Bend, the daughter of Edward and Margaret Downey McGinty.
    A resident of La Crosse most of her life, she was a homemaker, a former schoolteacher, an employee of the La Crosse Library, and bookkeeper at the Post Rock Museum.
    She was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church, the Altar Society, and the 60 Plus Center, all at La Crosse.
    On Nov. 10, 1938, she married Adolph H. Goetz at La Crosse. He survives. Other survivors include: two daughters, Phyllis Hooker, Oakley, and Mary Kay Brown, Hays; a sister, Grace Keenan, Great Bend; 10 grandchildren; and six greatgrandchildren.
    Rosary will be at 7:30 p.m. today at Janousek Funeral Home, La Crosse. Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Michael's Catholic Church, La Crosse, with Father Eugene Kenny presiding. Burial will be in La Crosse City Cemetery. Memorials may be given for Catholic Masses or sent to Rush
    County Nursing Home, both in care of the funeral home.
