Michael KRAUSE born in Golina, Posen in 1789 married Katharina Miller in about 1810 in Golina.
Michael and Katharina KRAUSE with their only son Ferdinand, were among the first settlers of Tarutino, Akkerman, Bessarabia, South Russia in 1815. Michael was very adept and a master at his trade of tanning and working with leather. He also was the mayor of Tarutino from 1823 to 1825.
Michael probably died of cholera on the 5th of December 1831 in Tarutino.
