Arthur W. Fouth, 99, of Route 1, Arlington, died at 10:15 a.m. Tuesday Nov. 7, 2000, at Prairie View Health Care Center, Princeton, where he had resided for three years. Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Mueller Funeral Home, Cherry, with the Rev. Theodore Engelsdorfer of Zion United Church officiating. Burial will be in Peru City Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service in the funeral home. He was born June 3, 1901, in Cherry to Frederick and Mary (Werll) Fouth. He married Rose Justine Hahn on Sept. 2, 1926, in Zion Church, Peru, and they recently celebrated their 74th wedding anniversary. He was a farmer in Berlin Township until he retired in 1966. He was a member of Zion United Church of Christ, Peru. Surviving are his wife; four daughters, Adella (Robert) Timm of LaMoille, Luella Shackelford of Route 1, Arlington, Corrine (Merle) Fetzer of Route 1, Arlington and Norma (Eugene) Sondgeroth of Sublette; nine grandchildren, three stepgrandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren, two nieces and a nephew. He was preceded in death by three sisters and a brother.
