Information from the book "Hebron-Our Heritage 1885-1985" pg 266 Harland taught school in Wells County then took up a homestead in the Medina-Crystal Springs area in 1911 and 1912 near Pettibone, ND. He attended the Palmer School of Chriropractic at Davenport, Iowa then returned to North Dakota and practiced at Enderlin, ND. He came to Hebron, ND and practiced there and taught school in 1931 to 1958 when he retired from teaching.
