Mavis Dockter • 1934 - 2007Mavis Dockter, 73, Kenmare, died Friday, November 23, 2007, at the Kenmare hospital.Mavis was born on June 4, 1934, in Greenway, SD, the daughter of John and Dorothy (Wagner) Joachim. She was reared and educated in SD and later moved to Eureka, SD.Mavis married Adam "Doc" Dockter on April 24, 1951, in Venturia. The couple made their home in Kenmare where they raised their seven children. Mavis was employed at the Kenmare Baptist Home for numerous years were she worked in dietary and assisted the nursing staff. After Adam retired the couple enjoyed traveling to visit family and friends. Mavis was very proud of the family especially all of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
