Elizabeth, known as Betty Nyberg when she graduated from North Central High School in Spokane, acquired her teaching credentials from Cheney Normal was a teacher at the Liberty Lake school house. She married Ernest Womach in June 1936 and they moved to the Womach homestead near Mohler. She attended the Mohler Methodist Church and sometimes filled in as pianist and she taught piano lessons. From 1948 to 1953 they lived in Spokane Valley where Ernest was involved in real estate sales. In 1953 their new home in Mohler was completed and with their two adopted children they returned to Mohler and farming. Elizabeth has since continuously lived in this home. She found time to work with the county 4-H group and was a leader of the Boy Scouts. She was active in Order of Eastern Star on the local and state levels. Attended the Evangelical United Brethren Church in Harrington from 1953 to 1965, and served as pianist with Naomi Kruger at the organ from 1955 to 1965. Ernest died June 12, 1956, just two days prior to their 20th wedding anniversary. Elizabeth met Carl Dammel some years previous, and they were married Jan 3, 1965. They attended the Congregational Church in Odessa where Elizabeth made many new friends. They enjoyed traveling and golfing together. Elizabeth loved to entertain and participated in the Mohler Women's Club from 1936 to its closing in the 1980's. Elizabeth was preceded in death by two older brothers, Harold and Clarence Nyberg and two younger sisters, Annabelle Eisele and Janet Snyder, nephew Lauren Eisele, and two husbands. She is survived by son Jasper (and Marilyn) Womach of Alexandria, VA, daughter Marjorie Womach at the home, step-son Stanley Dammel of Odessa, WA, daughters-in-law Marilynne Black and Debbie Dammel, youngest sister Retha Deyoe of Vicksburg, MS; sister-in-law Rose Dammel Law; grandchildren Ronald Womach, Curtis Womach, Steven Learned, Todd and Troy Dammel, Denise Kliskey, Melinda and Elaine, and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life Memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 8, 2012 at 11:00AM at the Harrington United Methodist Church, Harrington, WA with Pastor Cynthia Wuts, officiating. Lenora was born February 13, 1933, along with twin sister Lorraine to Benjamin & Emelie (Buechle) Fetzer near Max, ND, where she was raised and educated. She was a long time member of the First Congregational Church, U.C.C. On June 19th, 1955, she married Virgil Landsiedel in Garrison and they made their home in Underwood where Lenora was a homemaker. In 1964 they moved to Garrison where she had a daycare for over 25 years caring for many children in the Garrison community. Lenora enjoyed quilting, making many quilts for her children and grandchildren, gardening, and canning many fruits and vegetables for the long winters. She was an avid baker, loved to travel to see her sons, daughter & grandchildren, and was always doing things with her twin sister. She is survived by one daughter, Sharlene Ward of Weatherford, OK; three sons, Terry of Rosamond, CA; Roger of Aurora, CO; and Lynn(Brenda Miska)of Salem, OR. Five grandchildren, Michelle Mespelt (Aaron), Salem, OR; Steven Ward, Weatherford, OK; Christopher Ward, Lakewood CO; Ryan Landsiedel, Salem, OR and Cody Landsiedel, Aurora, CO; one brother, Erwin Fetzer (Judy), of Surrey; two sisters, Lorraine Seidler of Coleharbor and Glorraine Thomas (Richard) of Everett, WA, and many nieces and nephews. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery under the direction of Kesling Funeral Home of Mobridge, SD. Visitation will start at 5 PM Friday at the church with a prayer service at 7 PM. Hilda passed away December 9th at her home where she was at peace. Hilda Wahl, daughter to William and Emma (Werre) Schneider, Hilda was born October 26, 1927. As she grew up she went to country grade school and graduated from Java High School. She went to Northern State College to get her teaching degree. She taught at Campbell, Walworth, and McPherson County Schools for many years. She married Merle E. Wahl on September 8, 1950. They lived on the Wahl Homestead for many years just 10 miles south of Mound City, SD. When they retired from the farm they moved to Mobridge, were they lived for 17 years. During those 17 years, Hilda worked at the Selby Nursing Home for several years. When she left there, she went to work at the Mobridge Nursing Home for awhile and then to Burger King as a greeter. After her various jobs, she dedicated her life to taking care of Merle and her home. In March 2012 they moved to Aberdeen on a small hobby farm with their son Eldon and Jane. She loved to garden, go on trips, play cards, and lived to cook and bake for large groups. Hilda is survived by her husband Merle, son Eldon (Jane Ohlde) Wahl, three brothers Ervin (Babe) Schneider, Vernard (Ella) Schneider, Delbert (Joan) Schneider, two sisters Della (Leland) Berndt, Meta Lang, several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, two grandchildren Chad Ohlde, Samantha (John) Hettich, three great grandchildren Jason Ohlde, Tanya Hettich, and Nickola Nilsen. He was born on June 8, 1914 in Ellinwood, Kansas, the son of Peter Joseph and Sophia Arnesdorf Knipp. A resident of Scott City, Kansas since 1930 moving from Ellinwood, Kansas, he was a farmer & cattleman. On June 14, 1939 he married Barbara G. Conner in Wichita, Kansas. She survives. He was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church, Charter Member of Knights of Columbus council 5212 both of Scott City, Kansas Livestock Association and a Past Fair Board Member. Gilbert was a competitive bowler, golfer, and billiards player and spent most nights playing cards with his beloved Barbara. He also loved music, singing and dancing. Survivors include his Three Sons - Dan Knipp of Dodge City, Kansas, John & Jane Knipp of Hutchinson, Kansas, Sam & Leah Knipp of Edmond, Oklahoma, Three Daughters - Sue & Ben Richenburg of Muscotah, Kansas, Anita & Gary Bernbeck of Grand Junction, Colorado, Ruth & Ryan Van Pelt of Great Bend, Kansas, Fourteen Grandchildren, Twenty Eight Great Grandchildren and One Great Great Granddaughter. He was preceded in death by his Parents, One Brother - Joe and One Sister - Eleanor. Vigil Services will be held at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Scott City, Kansas at 7:00 p.m. Sunday, December 16, 2012. Middleton Memorial VA Hospital in Madison, WI, due to heart failure. Lee was born December 30, 1941 in Streeter, ND to Rueben & El Frieda (Remmick) Hust. Lee lived in Tappen and attended school there. They moved to Jamestown where he attended high school. He joined the army in 1959 until 1962. Lee was an over the road truck driver. He lived in North Dakota, Oregon, and Colorado. He married his last wife, Michele (Thompson) Kaiser-Hust in 2005. They lived in Colorado, Illinois and most recently resided in Janesville, WI. Lee is survived by his wife, Michele Kaiser-Hust, Janesville, WI; one son Bryan (Dawn) Hust, West Fargo, ND; four daughters, Jeanne (Brian) Laughlin, West Fargo, ND, Julie Hust (Chris), West Fargo, ND, Brenda (Jerald) Roemmich, Jamestown, Debra (Jeff) Schauer, Overland Park, KS; 10 grandchildren: Aaron Hust, Tanner & Mason Laughlin, Ben Dalbol & Alexis Bernier, Blaine Hust, Thomas & Tyler Roemmich, Erin & Sarah Schauer; one great grandson, Brennan Dalbol; two sisters, Marlys Hust and VerDella (Emmett) Nitschke; and one brother, Cliff (Marlene) Hust, all of Jamestown.
