This couple had eight children between 1820-1850, according to information on RootsWeb.com.
After her husband died, Charlotte Chappell Hargrove apparently purchased the 14-room home built by her daughter and son-in-law, the Hallers, in the new town of Chappell Hill and for eight to ten years operated it as a boarding house for college students. The building was called Hargrove House or Hargrove House Hotel. The subsequent owner turned it into the Stage Coach Inn, a property which today is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Galen was born in Burley, Idaho, and was the oldest of three boys. He learned the value of hard work at a young age when he started his own hay hauling business while in high school. After graduating from school in Rupert, Idaho, Galen married his high school sweetheart, Nancy Miller, in February 1972. Thus began a new chapter in Galen's life with starting a family and developing an agriculture business. In 1977, Galen, Nancy and their two daughters moved to Pasco, Wash. Soon his family grew with the addition of two sons while his ag business, Hieb Spraying, prospered. Galen loved his family, especially his grandchildren; he also enjoyed fishing, listening to music, barbecuing and spending time with his numerous friends. Family and friends gathered frequently at the Hieb house for potlucks with Galen in full charge of the grill. Galen touched many lives with his kind heart and generous spirit. He told great stories about escapades in his younger days. He loved life and lived it to the fullest.
