      Lydia Remboldt, 93, Jamestown, died Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2001, at Central Dakota Nursing Home, Jamestown
      Lydia Schroeder was born Sept. 25, 1907, at Jamestown, the daughter of John and Catherina (Schock) Schroeder. In 1912 the family moved to Griffin Township, where she received her education at the local rural school. In 1924 the family moved five miles west of Jamestown, where she helped on the family farm and grew up in the vicinity. She married Emil Remboldt Dec. 3, 1930, at Jamestown. They lived near Cleveland, N.D., and later near Gackle, N.D. They later moved to Alexander Township, northeast Gackle, where they farmed until retiring in 1976. In 1986 they moved into Jamestown. He died in January 1993. In February 2000 she entered Central Dakota Nursing Home, Jamestown.
      She was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, Jamestown. She was the Sabbath school superintendent and a Dorcas leader and teacher in the Gackle SDA Church.
      She is survived by a daughter, Donna (Willis) Seibold, Sykeston, N.D.; a son, Roger, Gackle; a sister, Martha Haas, Jamestown; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; a son, Larry; two sisters; and three brothers.
      Services: 1 p.m. Friday, Haut Funeral Chapel, Jamestown, with the Rev. David Stuart officiating.
      Visitation: 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, Haut Funeral Chapel, Jamestown.
