Moved to Montana as a young man and homesteaded in the southeastern part of the state. Married Adella Brandner Dec. 9, 1923. He moved to Fairfield in 1938 and raised cattle and farmed. He moved to Great Falls about four years ago. He lived at the Cambridge Court and with a daughter for three years. He was a charter member of the Fairfield Assembly of God Church. Survivors include two daughters, five sons, three sisters, 18 grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren [survivor's names omitted].
