Harold Croissant, 78, Greeley, died Thursday, November 3, at Bonell Good Samaritan Center. He was born April 28, 1916, in Johnstown to Jacob and Elizabeth (Roth) Croissant. On August 13, 1939, he married Ruth Lockridge in LaSalle. Mr. Croissant attended Hardin Elementary School in Hardin and attended Kersey High School. He also attended the Bible Baptist College in Fort Worth, Texas, for two years and worked with a youth group at Ramseur Baptist Church in Paris, Texas, for three years. He then moved to Greeley.
Mr. Croissant was a car salesman for 30 years, 15 years with an Oldsmobile-Cadillac dealership, seven years with Wheeler the Dealer, and eight years with Weld County Garage. He was a member of the Greeley Wesleyan Church.
Survivors are his wife, Ruth of Greeley, a daughter, Karen Ruth Woods, also of Greeley, a son, Harold Jacob of Littleton, two sisters, Olinda Glenn of Fort Collins and Florence Reck of Greeley, two brothers, Henry of West Covina, California, and Paul of Sterling, and two grandchildren. Four brothers, Chris William, Rhinhold, Roland and Albert, are deceased.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Greeley Wesleyan Church, 3600 22nd. St. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit from 8 a.m. to noon today and 1-4 p.m. Sunday at Allnutt Funeral Service Macy Chapel.
