Annie E. Vincent was born at Dodgeville, Wis., Feb. 18, 1852 was married to Willis Howes Feb. 1, 1877 and started for Kansas the same day and settled on their homestead near Munden, Kansas where she made her home until her death, which occurred May 7, 1898, to them were born four children. She leaves a husband, one son and two daughters to mourn her loss.
The funeral service which was very largely attend by her many friends and neighbors was held at the M.E. Church of Munden, conducted by the writer and her body laid to rest in the Ida cemetery, there to await the morning of the Resurrection.
