Viola Heil, 75, Bismarck, formerly of McClusky, died Aug. 28, 2002, at a Bismarck hospital. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. John's Lutheran Church, McClusky. Burial will be in McClusky City Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday at Hertz Funeral Home, McClusky.
Viola Reiser was born May 8, 1927, at McClusky. Viola was the daughter of John and Gladys (Broekel) Reiser. Viola grew up and attended school in McClusky, graduating from high school in 1947.
Viola married Otto Bonnet on June 13, 1948, in McClusky. They lived in McClusky, Lincoln Valley and Butte, returning to McClusky in 1965. Otto died Dec. 1, 1965. Viola married John Heil on Nov. 9, 1969, at McClusky. They lived in McClusky. Viola worked for Grenz Super Valu while living in McClusky. They moved to Bismarck in June 2002.
Viola was a member of the St. John's Lutheran Church and its Lutheran Women's Missionary League, McClusky Senior Citizens and American Legion Auxiliary, all of McClusky.
Viola is survived by her husband, John Heil, Bismarck; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Donald and Mary Ann Bonnet and Lyle and Kelley Bonnet, all of Sheridan, Wyo., and Darrel Bonnet, Elko, Nev.; one stepson, Jim and his wife Sheila Heil, Bismarck; 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Delmar and Arlie Reiser, both of McClusky; two sisters, Leona Werner, Bismarck, and Verla Kundert, Eugene, Ore.; and one son-in-law, Aaron Campbell, Bismarck.
Viola was preceded in death by her first husband, Otto Bonnet; one daughter, Lynn Marie Campbell; and one granddaughter, Shannon Bonnet. (Hertz Funeral Home, McClusky)
