His funeral service was at 11:00 AM, Thursday, June 24th at the St. John's Lutheran Church with Rev. L. Scott Spiehs officiating. Burial was in the Wolsey Cemetery with military rites by the Hershman-Gordon American Legion Post #59 of Wolsey. Keith Harder was born February 4, 1937, to Frank and Lois (Christopherson) Harder, at Wolsey, South Dakota. He graduated from Wolsey High School in 1955. After graduation Keith entered the United States Marine Corps. He was stationed at Camp Pendleton in California. After being discharged from the Marine Corps, Keith stayed in Lodi, California, where he met Lily Anna Dodge. They were married on July 16, 1961. Keith worked for the United States Postal Service and also did carpentry work. In 1975, they moved to Iroquois, South Dakota. Keith continued to do carpentry work and worked at the Huron Regional Medical Center. Keith and Lily moved to Huron in 2004. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lily in 2005, his father, Frank in 1998, and his brother, Frank, Jr. in 1958. Grateful for having shared in his life are his mother, Lois Harder of Huron; his brother, Merle (Janet) Harder of Waubay; and four nephews, Brian (Michelle) Harder of Mt. Zion, Illinois, and Corey (Brenda) Harder, TJ (Marcy) Harder and Adam Harder, all of Groton.
