Funeral services for Clarence S. Zimbelman, 77, of 1840 Division St., Murphysboro, will be Sunday at 2 p.m. in St. Peter's United Church of Christ.
Mr. Zimbelman died Tuesday at his home after a long illness.
He was born in Murphysboro on May 23, 1893, the son of Adolph and Mary Bersche Zimbelman.
He was married to Frieda C. Wohlwend in Jackson, Mo., on Feb. 3, 1940.
Mr. Zimbelman was a retired baker. He was a World War I veteran in the army.
He was a member of the American Legion, Sherman S. Carr WWI Barracks, the Eagles Lodge, and St. Peters United Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife of Murphysboro; and a nephew, Gilbert Zimbelman of Murphysboro.
Two sisters and one brother preceded him in death.
