Margaret Elizabeth Bryant, Fishers, passed away peacefully on August 21, 2014 in the presence of her family, comforted by the word of the Lord. Born on June 23, 1917 in Cincinnati, Margaret was a blessing in the lives of all who had the pleasure of knowing her, and who called her mom, grandma, wife, sister and friend. She was as beautiful inside as she was outside. She was steadfast in her Christian faith, generous to all, and lived a rich life that prioritized faith, family and friends. A modern woman for her 97 years, she was graceful, strong, quick-witted, and open-minded. She valued her quiet time of devotion, was an avid reader, and loved watching sports, particularly her Indiana Pacers. Her beautiful spirit and treasured memories will live eternally in our hearts and minds. Margaret is survived by her two daughters, Elizabeth Simmons of Charlotte, NC, and Julia Brillhart of Fishers; as well as her two grandchildren, Sarah Strickland of Charlotte, NC, and Ross Brillhart of Fishers. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dan; and her siblings, Dorothy and George.
