OBITUARY Mrs. Ernest (Atilda) Broschat, 79, passed away Friday, February 24, at the Baptist Nursing Home in Bismarck. Funeral services were held Monday, February 27, at 2 p.m. in the First Baptist Church of Fessenden.. Burial will be at Germantown Cemetery, rural Cathay. Mrs. Broschat was born November 24, 1898, at rural Bremen, Hamberg Township, to Henry and Rosina Meth. She attended school in the Hamberg Rural School and graduated from Fessenden High School. She taught school for several years, moving to Fessenden in 1948. Mrs. Broschat's husband died June 29, 1951. Mrs. Broschat entered the Baptist Nursing Home in June, 1968.. Survivors include three sons, Emerty, Cathay, Myron, Fergus Falls, MN, Richard, Williston. Nine grandchildren and one great grandchild; four brothers, Albert and Gust, Lodi, CA, John, Maddock, and Walter, Alexandria, MN. Sources: 1.
