    WARNKEN - David Gene, 46, of Tulsa died November 4, 2009, of pancreatic cancer. He was born to Donald and Twyla Warnken on August 7, 1963, in Tulsa and remained in the Tulsa area throughout his life. David was preceded in death by his mother. He is survived by: his father, Donald Warnken of Tulsa. Other survivors include his brothers and their families: Dean, Monica and Jessica Warnken of Jakarta, Indonesia and Duane and Cynthia Warnken of Phoenix, AZ. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins throughout Oklahoma, Kansas and Colorado. David was known and beloved by many people including his special friends: Gloria Cobb, Belete Dessalegne, Beverly Haney, Robert Hencley, Kenneth Goodou and Arlene Vann. His witty stories, vivid imagination and endless compassion for other people will always be remembered by everyone who dearly loved him. David's endearing nature and loving spirit leaves fond memories to all. Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, November 7, 2009, at Moore's Southlawn, 51st and Mingo. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery. It is requested that donations be made to the American Cancer Society in lieu of flowers.
