The funeral for Oscar Remboldt, 80, Gackle, N.D., will be at 11 Thursday in United Church of Christ Congregational Church, Gackle. Visitation will be from 9 to 9 today in Haut Funeral Home, Gackle, and one hour before services in the church. He died Sunday. [January 20, 1991]
Mr. Remboldt was born Feb. 23, 1910, in Gackle, where he grew up and attended school. He married Christine Dorr June 1, 1933, in Napoleon, N.D., and they farmed near Gackle. In 1948 they moved into Gackle, where he and a partner opened Gackle Packing Plant. They operated the plant until 1983, when he retired.
He is survived by his wife; two sons, Delano (Bud), Edina, Minn.; and Dwight (Chuck), Fargo; two daughter, Rosetta (Mrs. Herman) Gold, Napa, Calif.; and Suzetta Remboldt, Fargo; two brothers, Edward C., Gackle; and Reuben, Oceanside, Calif.; a sister, Ruth Netz, Morgan, Utah; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Oscar heiratete Dorr, Christine am 1 Jun 1933 in Napoleon, Logan County, North Dakota, USA. The funeral for Dwight D. Remboldt, 50, 1001 5th St. S., Fargo, will be at 7:30 Tuesday in Gethsemane Cathedral, Fargo, with a graveside service at 11 Wednesday in Gackle, N.D. Visitation will be 4:30 to 6:30 today in Boulger Funeral Home, Fargo, and one hour before services in the church. He died Saturday, April 17, 1993.
Mr. Remboldt, known as Chuck, was born Jan. 5, 1943, in Jamestown, N.D. He grew up and attended school in Gackle, where he graduated from high school in 1961. He married Sheila Koehmstedt Aug. 6, 1976, in Fargo. He received his bachelor's degree in nursing in 1991 from North Dakota State University.
He is survived by his wife; a son, Christian, at home; a daughter, Christina, at home; his mother, Christina Remboldt, Fargo; a brother, Delano (Bud), Edina, Minn.; two sisters, Rosetta Gold, Napa, Calif., and Suzetta Remboldt, Fargo.
