    BRANDNER - Verne Arthur Brandner of Eugene died August 10, 1987. He was born May 2, 1939 in Miles city, Montana. He graduated from Willamette High School in 1957, and from Lane Community College. He received his B.S. from California Polytechnic, and graduated from San Mateo College. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1959 to 1965, serving 21 months in Formosa. He was an airplane mechanic with TWA in San Francisco, and was employed for many years by Telecom Systems. He was presently employed at County Coach in Junction City. He was a licenced amateur radio operator, and a member of the American Production and Inventory Controls Society. He is survived by 2 children, both of Eugene; his mother, Bernice Sasser, and his father, Arthur Brandner, and his step-father, Harold Sasser, all of Eugene. He was preceded in death by a sister, Velma Mae Brandner. Memorial services will be held Friday, August 21st, at 2 p.m. in the Irving Christian Church, Rev. Richard Crane officiating. Those who wish may contribute to the Irving Christian Church Memorial Fund. LOUNSBURY MUSGROVE FUNERAL CHAPEL, in charge of arrangements.
