Survived by three daughters, Patrice Dae Hudson (Greg) of Cedar Rapids, Judi Brackin (Jim Rhodenbaugh) of Waterloo, and Teresa Hertges (Bob) of Elk Run Heights; one daopted daughter, Mary Horsland of Waterloo; six grandchildren, Bryan Hudson, Jessica Dae Hudson (Tim Tolliver), Kevan Hudson, Melissa Leyen (Jon), Mary Hertges, and Samuel Rhodenbaugh; two great-grandchildren, Macauley Hudson and Mackenzie Dae Leyen; two brothers, William Bowersox (Lola) of Franklin, Tennessee, and Ted Bowersox (Phyllis) of Hudson; two sisters-in-law, Bonnie Ford (Donald) of Lake Forest, Illinois, and Myrtle Brackin of Waterloo; one brother-in-law, James Herold of Casper, Wyoming; and many nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her parents; her two husbands; and 11 of Irvin's brothers and sisters.

Edward M. "Ted" Bowersox, 83, of Hudson, died Wednesday, Jan 9, at the Parkview Manor Nursing Home in Reinbeck.
He was born May 17, 1929 in Waterloo, the son of William E. and Bernice D. Hixon Bowersox. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict.
He married Phyllis M. Hastings on July 27, 1957 in Harrisville, MI. Ted was an inspector at John Deere Waterloo Tractor Works for 39 years retiring on Oct 1, 1987.
He is survived by his wife; 1 son, Dr. Daniel (Jill) Bowersox of Louisville, KY; 1 daughter-in-law, Karen S. Bowersox of Grimes; 3 grandchildren, Anne, Sam, and Shelby; 3 step-grandchildren Kirk Shelby, Ross Shelby, and Jamie Shelby; and 1 step-great granddaughter, Addison Shelby.
He was preceded in death by 1 son, Thomas; 1 brother, William; 1 sister, Irma Barton; and 1 grandson, Alex Bowersox.
Services will be 4:30 P.M. Saturday, Jan 12, at the Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel on Kimball. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5 – 8 P.M. Friday and an hour before services Saturday.
Military rites will be conducted by the Hudson AMVETS Post 82.
