    Myrna Faye (Schrader) Zimbelman was born June 14, 1951 at the Gregory Hospital in Gregory, SD to Bill and Dorothy (Dunn) Schrader. Myrna was the last sibling born in a family of twelve children. She was a typical "baby" of the family—very loved and spoiled by all. She grew up on the family ranch with many nieces, nephews, and cousins each summer.
    Myrna grew up on the Wolf Creek Ranch near Jamison, NE. She went to grade school at Brocksburg and Spotted Tail at Jamison. She graduated from Burke High School in 1969. Myrna then attended beauty school in Sioux Falls.
    Myrna married the love of her life Harold Zimbelman on January 14, 1970. Myrna and Harold lived most of their married life in Gregory, SD except for a short time in Montana.
    Myrna was a member of the Jamison Methodist Church where she grew up and later went to the United Methodist Church in Gregory, SD.
    Myrna enjoyed family, camping, gardening, her animals, and many friends. She always had a big smile for everyone. Myrna worked at various jobs in Gregory. She worked many years at Mary Bob's.
    Myrna loved all her nieces and nephews and spent much time with them making them all feel special. A special place was held in her heart by Scott Zimbelman who was her godchild.
    Myrna has fought a courageous battle with cancer since March. Through many chemo and radiation treatments her faith still continued. Myrna lost her battle with her illness on January 10, 2015.
    Those surviving to cherish her memories are her beloved husband of 45 years Harold; four sisters Mildred Kittleman, Alliance, NE, Ruth Krejci, Lance Creek, WY, Bonnie (Kenny) Endes, Bakersfield, CA, and Violet (Merlin) Brumbaugh, Newport, NE; three brothers Bob Schrader, Newcastle, WY, Darrell (Deana) Schrader, Rapid City, SD, and Joe Schrader of Stuart, NE; sister-in-law Della (Tuffy) Schrader, Lusk, WY; Harold's siblings and spouses Ralph and Lou Zimbelman, Gregory, SD, Arthur and Joan Zimbelmann, Hamill, SD, Irene Nelson, Hamill, SD, Esther Janke, Omaha, NE, Jim and Elsie Vernon, Sioux Falls, SD, and Dora Whitham, Wichita, KS; and many nieces, nephew, and friends.
    Preceding her in death are her parents Bill and Dorothy Schrader, and four brothers Stanley, Jim, Leroy "Tuffy", and Howard.
    Funeral services for Myrna Zimbelman of Gregory were held Saturday, January 17, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the United Methodist Church in Gregory with Pastor Royal Archer officiating. A prayer service was held Friday evening at the church with Pastor Russ Grim.
    Music was provided by Bette Fogel, pianist. Congregational songs were "Amazing Grace" and "The Old Rugged Cross." Recorded music was "The Dance" by Garth Brooks, "A Picture of Me Without You" by George Jones, and "Go Rest High on That Mountain" by Vince Gill.
    Delaine Warner and Barb Pigman were in charge of registration.
    Flower attendants were Tonya Sawle, Geraldine Feyereisen, Sara Zimbelman, and Mary Kaupp.
    Casket Bearers were Scott Zimbelman, Rick Zimbelman, Dan Clark, Shane Schrader, Brian Brumbaugh, and Gary Zimbelmann.
    Honorary Casket Bearers were all of Myrna's friends and family.
    Interment was in the Spotted Tail Cemetery, Jamison, NE.
