Funeral services were held for Paul Dittus, 81, of Glen Ullin, on Monday, May 25, 1992 at the Evangelical Congregational Church in Glen Ullin with Rev. E. Edward Tornow officiating. Interment was at Bethany Cemetery in rural Glen Ullin. He died May 21, 1992 in Mandan.
Mr. Dittus was born in rural Glen Ullin September 15, 1910, the son of Jacob and Lydia (Quast) Dittus. He was raised and educated in rural Glen Ullin, and began farming in the early 30s. He married Edna Sayler August 8, 1936 in Elgin. Following his marriage he farmed in rural Glen Ullin. In the early 60s he began working construction for Milton Rue Construction. In 1967 they returned to the farm and operated it until they retired and moved into Glen Ullin in 1972. Following retirement they continued to reside in Glen Ullin.
He is survived by one son and his wife, Russell and Mararet of Mandan and one daughter, Darla of Mandan; four granddaughters and three great-grandchildren. Mrs. Dittus died February 25, 1992.
Mr. Dittus was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, four brothers, two sisters and one son.
Dittus-Spangelo Funeral Home of Hebron was in charge of arrangements. Casket bearers were: Milton Klein, Jr., Leslie Klein, Duane Miller, Daniel Miller, Melvin Dittus and Ronny Dittus.

ilerian Dittus, son of Paul and Edna (Sayler)Dittus was born 24 Feb 1938 in Glen Ullin, ND. But his life was to be a short span. Pneumonia was the cause of his early death on 11 Nov 1938. He reached the age of only 9 months and 20 days. He leaves his deeply bereaved parents and grandparents as well as other relatives. May the love of God comfort the deeply Bereaved parents with the comfort from on high.
