Sutton, Nebraska resident, Kevin Lee Hofmann, died Thursday, January 2, 2014, as a result of an accidental fall in rural Hamilton county, Nebraska. Kevin was born July 20, 1978, in Henderson, Nebraska to Robert and Jocelyn (Griess) Hofmann.
Kevin was baptized in the Free German Reformed Church and confirmed at Hope Reformed Church. He attended Sutton (NE.) Public Schools graduating in 1997. He joined his father in farming after graduation, until his father's death in April 1999. After which, he continued farming with his mother. He married Tanya Eastin on July 25, 2009, at Sutton Federated Church, Sutton, Nebraska.
Kevin loved farming, cattle drives, and spending all of his free time with many close friends.
Kevin is survived by: wife, Tanya Hofmann; mother, Jocelyn Hofmann both of Sutton, Nebraska; sisters, Michelle Hofmann of Sutton, Nebraska and Colleen Hofmann of New York City, New York; stepchildren, Fawna Landers of Sutton, Nebraska, Dylan Landers of Tecumseh, Nebraska and Destiny Landers of Omaha, Nebraska; step-granddaughters, Lilly and Athena; grandmothers, Minnie Hofmann and Sinobia Griess both of Sutton, Nebraska; niece, Victoria; nephew, Christopher and a host of family and friends.
Kevin was preceded in death by: father, Robert Hofmann; grandfathers, Gilbert Hofmann and Paul R. Griess and cousin, Shannon Griess.
Funeral services were conducted on Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at 11 a.m., at the Federated Church, Sutton, Nebraska with Rev. Harry Cross officiated.
Interment was in Sutton Cemetery, Sutton, Nebraska,
