Mrs. Mischewski of Germany reported that George Heinrich Buxmann died in FUberau on Jan 13, 1760.
David Schmidt, reviewing LDS microfilm from FUberau/Reinheim (and also earlier Mrs. Mischweski of Ilbesheim, ermany) reported that an entry that occurs in the Family Register for George Heinrich Buxmann (b. 6 Jan. 1717) of FUberau says: "The widow married Kaspar Axthelm of Klein-Neuhausen (Erfurt) on March 15, 1763. In 1766, Axthelm, a sock weaver from FUberau with 4 stepchildren, took off for Russia in the night with his wife and children, leaving behind many debts, a house and goods. See protokolle pastorale, page 210."
Since neither Axthelm nor his wife, Elizabeth (?) Buxmann [her maiden name is unknown] appear in the records in Russia, according to Pleve, it may be assumed they died enroute. But two sons, Johann Georg (1745) and Johann Jakob (1754) arrived in Kolonie Mueller in 1767, according to Pleve. The oldest son was married.
Who the other two children were is not known; only Johann George (1745) and Johann Jakob (1754) are shown in the Russian data. The birth dates are from Ueberau/Reinheim church records.

Data from Igor Pleve of Saratov University, provided in 1993 in Saratov, shows Johann Georg Buxmann (born 1743 or 1744) as the first Buxmann to enter Russia from Germany after the invitation of the Czaress, Catharina the Great. He was said to be of the Evangelical (Lutheran) faith, and from the village of Reinheim (FUberau) near Darmstadt, and a tailor by trade. Pleve further reports that on August 16, 1767 Johann Georg Buxmann and his wife and brother (Johann Jakob, born in 1753) went [presumably from Saratov where they had been 'processed'] to the colony of MFuller.
Where the marriage between Johann Georg and Anna Maria took place is not known, whether in Germany, enroute to Russia, or in Russia. There is no record of the marriage in Ueberau/Reinheim church records.
Note, according to Ueberau/Reinheim church records, Johann George was abt 22 at entrance to Russia, and his brother (unmarried at the time) was abt 12.

From Pleve's 1993 chart, mistakenly shown as a son of Johann Georg Buxmann (1743) is later corrected by Pleve to brother. The latter is consistent with Reinheim Church Records, as stated by Mrs. Mischewski, genealogist in Germany. This also confirmed by David Schmidt, Martinez, CA, who examined LDS film from Reinheim, Germany.

Data from Igor Pleve of Saratov, 29 July, 1996, gives all Buxmanns (written as Buksmann in Russian transliteration) from the colony of Mueller for the censuses of 1834, 12.10.1850, and 23.01.1858. In a note of 13 August, 1996 David Schmidt notes that the 1798 census of MFuller shows two sons of Johann Georg Buxman, one named Johannes (age 24 in 1798) and the other, also named Johannes (aged 22 in 1798). Which of the two sons of Johann Georg named Johannes is the father of the two brothers, Georg Buxmann (age 30 in 1834, therefore born abt 1804), and Andreas Buxmann (age 28 in 1834, therefore born abt 1806), as well as of the three more brothers, George Martin, born ABT 1809, JOHANN ANDREAS, age 23.5 in 1834 and therefore born ABT 1811, and Johannes, born ABT 1813, (and whether the three latter are also brothers of the two former is not known for certain as of August 18, 1996. According to data from Pleve in 1993 the Johannes born in 1774 married Anna Barbara Keil, who was born in 1771. The younger Johannes, born in 1776, is not shown as married in Pleve's initial report. Therefore, a tentative judgment is that the older Johannes Buxmann (b. 1774) is the father of the 2 = 3 = 5 sons.
