Matilda "Tillie" Remboldt, 96, Jamestown, died Monday, Oct. 4, 2010, at Jamestown Hospital, Jamestown.
Matilda Hehn was born on May 5, 1914, near Gackle, N.D., the daughter of Carl Hehn and Karolina (Haas) Remboldt. She moved with her parents in 1916 to Jordon, Mont. They later moved back to the Gackle area. She attended elementary school and helped on the family farm.
She married Arthur J. Remboldt on Oct. 29, 1932, at the country Seventh-day Adventist Church, northeast of Gackle. They lived on a farm northeast of Gackle, where they farmed until 1980. They retired and moved to Jamestown in 1985. He died April 23, 1989. She entered Rock of Ages, Jamestown, in 2001. She was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, Jamestown. She enjoyed making quilts.
She is survived by a brother, Albert (Violet) Hehn, Lincoln, Neb.; a daughter-in-law, Bonnie Remboldt, Fargo, N.D.; two sisters-in-law, Estella Hehn, Jamestown, and Phyllis Hehn, Minot, N.D.; two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grand-children.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Russell Sr. and Delmar "Ron"; her parents; a grandson, Brian Remboldt; and a great-great-grand-daughter, Autumn Remboldt.
Services: 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Seventh-day Adventist Church, Jamestown, with Pastor Bob Forbes officiating.
Visitation: 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Haut Funeral Homes, Jamestown.

Mr. Lang was born Dec. 18, 1923, at the family farm home south of Cleveland, N.D., the son of Fred and Emma (Haas) Lang. He attended the local rural school where he received his elementary education and grew to manhood in the vicinity. He later attended North Dakota State School of Science, Wahpeton. He married Olga Flemmer Oct. 21, 1952, near Streeter, N.D. They lived on a farm 10 miles northeast of Gackle, where they farmed four years until buying a farm 10 miles southwest of Streeter. They farmed there until 1995 when they moved into Jamestown. Shortly after he was diagnosed with cancer. He attended the Seventh-day Adventist Church, Jamestown. He enjoyed collecting toy tractors and going to toy shows and museums in the area.
He is survived by his wife; two sons, Darvin (Elaine), West Fargo, N.D., and Darrell (Carlene), Canon City, Colo.; a daughter, Donna (Ken) Roth, Denver, Colo.; a twin brother, Elroy (Maxine), Jamestown; and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Clarence.
Services: 1 p.m. Monday, Sept. 5, Seventh-day Adventist Church, Jamestown, with the Rev. Dennis Kaiser officiating and the Rev. Marty Thurber assisting. Arrangements by Haut Funeral Homes, Jamestown.
Burial: Sunset Memorial Gardens, Jamestown.

Russell Eugene Remboldt Sr., 74, Fargo, formerly of Gackle, passed away peacefully, Friday March 7, 2008 at Meritcare Palliative Care Unit in Fargo, ND.
Russ was born August 13, 1933 at Gackle, ND, the son of Arthur J. Remboldt and Tillie (Hehn) Remboldt. He attended country school, NE of Gackle, and grew to manhood in the vicinity where he helped on the family farm. He entered the United States Army December of 1956 and was discharged February 11, 1958 with the rank of PFC.
Russell farmed until his retirement in March 2002. He and Bonnie Smith were married January 2, 1990 at Fargo.
Russell was a kind and patient man, who loved life. His greatest joy was spending time with his family and friends. Russ and Bonnie enjoyed their time camping, traveling and golfing.
He was a member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Gackle and also served on the Seventh-Day Adventist Cemetery Board of Gackle.
He is survived by his wife, Bonnie, Fargo, ND, his mother, Tillie, Jamestown, ND, his children, Russ Jr. (Teresa) Remboldt, Gackle, ND, Holly (David) Wald, Edgeley, ND, Michelle (Todd) Wirth, Piedmont, SD, Dean (Shelley) Smith, Milbank, SD, Scott (Pam Cothren) Smith, Summerville, SC, 10 grandchildren, Corey (fiancé- Samantha Gefroh) Remboldt, Ashley (fiancé- Richard Zabka) Remboldt, Wayne, Whitney and Weston Wald, Brandon (fiance-Linda Boschee) and Brent Smith, Brittani, Haley Smith, and Dawson Wirth, and 1 great granddaughter, Dezarae Boschee.
He was preceded in death by his father, 1 brother, Delmar "Ron" Remboldt, and a great granddaughter, Autumn Remboldt.
The funeral service will be at 11:00 A.M. Thursday March 13, 2008 at the Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Jamestown, ND, with Pastor Darren Purdy, officiating. The interment will be made in the Seventh-Day Adventist Cemetery, NE of Gackle, ND.

The funeral for Delmer Remboldt, 48, Spirtwood Lake, N.D., was Friday in Jamestown, N.D., with burial in Gackle, N.D. He died Tuesday. [January 31, 1989]
Mr. Remboldt, known as Ron was born June 23, 1940, in Jamestown. He attended schools in Gackle, where he graduated from high school in 1959. He attended Valley City (N.D.) State College. He served in the U.S. Army from 1961 to 1964 and moved to California, where he worked as an independent truck driver. In 1984, he returned to Jamestown, where he was employed by Mayer Truck Line Inc. He married Leah Clark April 4, 1987, in Jamestown, and they lived in Spirtwood Lake.
He is survived by his wife; a daughter, Dawn Silvernail, Hubbardston, Mich.; his parents, Arthur and Tillie Remboldt, Jamestown; a brother, Russel, Gackle; and one grandchild. (Haut, Jamestown)
