Henry (8th oldest) from a family of thirteen, parents' Chistopher & Justine Burkart came from Antelope, North Dakota. In May 15, 1911, Chris and Henry purchased land SW of Fox Valley, SK. The farming life started in Canada. Bertha washed/repaired linen/clothes for the local hotel in Fox Valley. They had no vehicle for transportation, the horses and tractor were their transportation.
Henry didn't go to war, because of his statement of belief that he was a Mennonite Brethern, he stayed back. Henry took care of the farm and raised a family of two.

Henry heiratete Hieb, Bertha in Dez 1916. Bertha (Tochter von Hieb, Georg und Glaser, Katharina) wurde geboren am 5 Aug 1896 in Harvey, Wells County, North Dakota, USA; gestorben am 14 Sep 1974 in Medicine Hat, Division No.1, Alberta, Canada. [Familienblatt] [Familientafel]
