Father Kevin Koch officiating. Interment will follow in Valley View Cemetery. Visitation will take place at the Colyer Funeral Home from 1-5 p.m. Monday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday and 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday. The casket will be closed at the church service.
Born Dec. 27, 1921, in Sedgwick, Colo., to Jacob and Anna (Rabb) Krantz, she grew up and received her education in Colorado.
She married Henry Weickum Jr. on Feb. 21, 1942, in Denver.
They moved to Goshen County in 1944. She worked for 37 years as an LPN at the Torrington Community Hospital, retiring in 1988. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren, and was a devoted caregiver. She enjoyed needlework and was known as very independent and a good cook.
Survivors include two sons, both of Rawlins, Larry and Terry Weickum and their wives; two daughters, Linda Adams of Hawk Springs and Jeanette Fuller and her husband of Yoder; three sisters, Sally Eisenbarth of Brighton, Colo., Mary Protsman of Denver and Anna Schell of Greeley, Colo.; one brother, Pete Krantz of Prattsville, Ala.; 16 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a grandson, four brothers and one sister.
