Richard Ross Nuss, 82, of Lincoln, passed away at Holmes Lake Manor on Wednesday, June 20, 2012. Born in Omaha on March 15, 1930 to Dr. Herman V. and Mildred (Ross) Nuss, Dick grew up in Sutton. He graduated from Kemper Military School in Boonville, Mo. and Lincoln School of Commerce. He was honorably discharged from the U.S. Army in 1954. Dick worked as a bookkeeper for Sidles Co. and was a land appraiser.

Survived by his sister, Victoria (Tory) O'Neal, Lincoln; niece, Janet O'Neal, Lincoln; nephews, Walter (Maria) O'Neal, Lincoln, Jim (Julie) Curley, Kiowa, Colo., Doug (Kim) Curley, Westminster, Colo., Tom Curley, Suquamish, Wash. Preceded by parents, sister Janet (Philip) Curley.
Graveside services: 11 a.m. Saturday Wyuka Cemetery. Please meet at Butherus, Maser & Love Funeral Home, 4040 A Street at 10:30. Officiating, Rev. Kathryn Campbell. Viewing: Saturday 10:15-10:45 at the funeral home. Burial: Wyuka Cemetery.
