Neibch, Edwin Carl, was born near Lewisville, on November 18, 1887, the son of John and Louisa Bintz Neibch. He departed this life at his home, February 1, 1955 at the age of 67 years and two months.

He lived his entire life in the Lewisville community and was a life-long member of St. John's Evangelical and Reformed Church where he was baptized and confirmed in his youth. He also served in the United States Armed Forces in World War I.
On April 16, 1951 he was united in marriage with Mrs. Anna Claus.
He is survived by his wife; four sisters, Mrs. Clarence Weber and Miss Luella Neibch of near Woodsfield; Mrs. Leona LaFollette, of Akron and Mrs. Lydia Bailer[Bailey] of Cleveland; three stepchildren; Alvira Claus, of Barnesville; Floyd Claus, of Salem, Ohio and Bernard Claus of Witchita, Kansas.
All his life Edwin was a hardworking farmer, first on his parent's farm where he lived with his mother and sister and then continuing on his own farm where he lived with his wife. He loved to farm and to tend cattle, to watch things grow and to be in the out-of-doors.
Short services were held in the Bauer and Turner Funeral Chapel on Friday afternoon at one o'clock. Additional services were held at two o'clock in St. John's (Middle Church) Evangelical and Reformed Church. Rev. George Varnes officiated. Interment was in the church cemetery. Military rites were accorded by Monroe Post 87, American Legion.
