Lucille C. Pinter, 91, formerly of Cherry and Liberty Village in Peru, died at 3:15 p.m. June 23, 2012, in Manor Court of Peru.
Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Holy Trinity Church, Cherry. Burial will be at Holy Trinity Miner's Memorial Cemetery, Cherry.
Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Tuesday in Hurst Funeral Home, Ladd, and at 9 a.m. Wednes-day in Holy Trinity Church until time of services. A rosary will be recited at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home by Deacon Dennis Gillan
She was born Oct. 21, 1920, in Maytown to Richard and Anna (Sharkey) Gillan. She married LeRoy W. Pinter in Holy Trinity Church in Cherry on Feb. 22, 1941.
Mrs Pinter farmed with her husband and was a homemaker. She was a member of Holy Trinity Church and the Altar and Rosary Society.
Mrs Pinter is survived by one daughter, Debra (Nick) Trahd of Princeton; six sons, Gerald Pinter of Logan, Iowa, Wayne (Barbara) Pinter of rural Cherry, Melvin (Teresa) Pinter of Mendota, Larry (Pat) Pinter of Cherry, Ron (Carol) Pinter of Freeport and Mark (Tandy) Pinter of Sandwich; 26 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and three sisters, Shirley (Mick) Klein of Cherry, Berniece Schneider of Cherry and Lorraine Dittle of Pampa, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her husband on April 9, 2000; one sister, Ruth Kryzek; six brothers, Leo, Earl, Harold, William, Richard and Vincent Gillan; Two daughters-in-law, Suzie and Kathy Pinter; and two grandsons, Steven and John Pinter.
Pallbearers will be Dan, Tyson, Brad, Jim, Andrew, Mike and Jeff Pinter.
