Mrs. Dora Larsen, daughter of John R and Gertrude A Bowersox was born Feb 22, 1868 in Galesburg, IL and died in the Eventide Nursing Home in Topeka, KS June 3, 1960 at the age of 92 years.
She was united in marriage to Lars Larsen May 11, 1899. They were the parents of two children, Irl R and Ruth L. Mrs. Larsen moved to Republic County, KS in Feb 1871, where she resided until the past five years when she moved to Topeka to
live with her daughter and family. Preceding her in death were her husband, Lars Larsen, one sister Minnie B Erwin and two brothers, Dr. U S G Bowersox and Orville L. Bowersox.
Surviving her are her son Irl Larsen, of Courtland, daughter
Alice Yates of Topeka, two grandsons, Charles R and Robert L Yates Jr., Lompos, CA and one brother, Arlie of Longmont, CO.
Interment was in Courtland Cemetery.
