Obituary from the Carroll County Times, Aug 10, 1950:
"Milton Buckey Gorsuch, 23, of Unionville, died instantly Wednesday, August 3, 1950, when crossing an electric fence on his farm. A broken insulator let a 6900 volt wire drop which contacted with the fence. The accident occurred about 800 yards from the road. Death was due to electrocution.
He was born February 10, 1927, in Frederick County, a son of George and Edna Buckey Gorsuch.
Surviving, in addition to his parents, are his wife, Mrs. Regina Devilbiss Gorsuch, a son, Austin Buckey Gorsuch, at home; his maternal grandmother, Mrs. George P. Buckey, Union Bridge, and the following brothers and sisters Mrs. Aubrey Schneider, West Englewood, NJ., Mrs. William George, Washington; Mrs. Charles Metcalfe, Union Bridge; George W. Gorsuch, Walkersville; and Frank Gorsuch, Oak Orchard.
Funeral services were held on Saturday at 2 P. M at the New Windsor funeral home of D. D. Hartzler & Son. Rev. E. C. Soper officiated. Interment was in Pipe Creek Cemetery."
