Services for Martha (Edward) Mauch, 77, Lutheran Home resident were held Saturday, June 21, 1980, at 10:30 a.m. from Straub's Chapel, Eureka. The Reverends Rod Hackett of Herreid, South Dakota, Luke Miller of Aberdeen, South Dakota, and Peter Ackerman of Eureka officiated. Organist, Cherrolaine Heupel, music by the Luke Miller family.
Mrs. Mauch passed away in the Eureka hospital Tuesday, June 17, after a lingering illness. Born October 18, 1902, at Greenway, a daughter of Caroline Perman and Peter Ackerman, Martha married December 22, 1925, at Eureka to Edward Mauch. They lived at Greenway, Golden Valley, Ellendale and Wishek, North Dakota. Reverend Mauch passed away April 08, 1963. She became a resident of the Lutheran Home November 05, 1966. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church.
Survived by two brothers, Emil and William Ackerman, both of Eureka.
Preceded in death by her parents; husband, one sister and two brothers.
Casket bearers were Albert Heupel, Clarence Bender, James Ackerman, Evans Goehring, George Knoll and Oscar Ulmer.
