Peck, whose father, --- Veatch, married Mary Broadwell.  Asbury Broadwell reared a family of three sons and one daughter.  Dr. Broadwell, a very talented man, died without issue.  Mrs. Finley left three daughters at her death.  Marcus Braodwell died 1870, and left three sons and four daughters.  Ewing Broadwell, son of Marcus, died since his father.  William and Fred. are still alive, and the daughters are now residents of this town.   Mary married Jack Desha; Martha, John K. Lake; Katherine, Mr. Sprake; and Bessie is unmarried.  Joseph Broadwell married early in life and died young.
