Hilda L. Reiswig, 93, Bismarck, formerly of McClusky, passed away June 10, 2012, at the Baptist Home, Bismarck. Services will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday, June 12, at Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church, 801 E. Denver Ave., Bismarck, with the Rev. Lester Wolfgram officiating. Burial will be held at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 12, at the McClusky Cemetery.
Visitation will be held a half hour prior to the service at the church.
Hilda was born on Jan. 7, 1919, in McClusky, the daughter of Dennis and Helen (Sauchenko) Dasenko. She was raised and attended school near McClusky. Hilda married Edwin Braunberger in 1935 at St. John's Lutheran Church in McClusky. They made their home in McClusky. Edwin passed away in 1955. Hilda married Reinhold Reiswig in 1961, and in 1980, they moved to Bismarck. Reinhold passed away in 1991.
Hilda owned and operated R & H Motel and the M & H Drive-In Restaurant in McClusky.
She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, McClusky, and Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church, Bismarck.
Hilda is survived by her children, Ardell (Sharon) Braunberger, Chippewa Falls, Wis., Alyce Starck, Bismarck, Ronald (Beverly) Reiswig, Bismarck, and George Reiswig, Florida; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren; plus many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by one sister, Veona Hanson, Turtle Lake.
She was preceded in death by two husbands, Edwin Braunberger, and Reinhold Reiswig; one son, Alan Braunberger; her parents; three brothers, Joe, Dan and Tony Dasenko; and three sisters, Rose Luthelen, Ann Otzel, and Pauline Nurenburg.
