She was preceded in death by husband, sons James Harold and Edwin Arthur Young, daughter May Elizabeth Young-Delay, and mother Eliza Jane (Barnett) Armstrong.

Funeral services for Mrs. Eliza Jane Armstrong, resident of Springfield 63 years, will be held at Vancil funeral home, Rev. Roy A. Kale will officiate and burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
Mrs. Armstrong died Sunday at the residence if a daughter, Mrs. C.J. Fagan, 2031 East Capitol Ave. She is survived by 4 sons, Jesse, W.H. and Charles , all of El Paso, TX, and Harry Armstrong of San Antonio, TX; 6 daughters, Mrs. Fagan and Mrs H.F. Young, both of Springfield; Mrs Frank D. Clark of Carbondale; Mrs. A.J. Hickman of Peoria; Mrs Quint Cholero of Benld; and Ella Workman of El Paso, TX; 25 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was a member of the Fifth Presbyterian Church.
