    Henry John "Hank" Lohrmeyer, 96, Logan, formerly of Densmore, died Thursday, Dec. 17, 2009, at Logan Manor.
    He was born June 4, 1913, in rural Phillips County to Joseph John And Margaret (Lang/Long Weber) Lohrmeyer.
    He married Eva Lorena Deeter on Dec. 30, 1947, in Claudell. She preceded him in death Oct. 30, 1983. He was the postmaster at Densmore post office for 27 years before retiring in 1980. He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving as a technician-fifth grade during World War II.
    He received the Bronze Star Medal and the Good Conduct Medal.
    He was a member of St. John Catholic Church, Logan; a 27-year member of Logan Volunteer Fire Department, retiring in 1996; a member of the Knights of Columbus, serving as an officer for 25 years; and a member of the Logan American Legion Post 281 for more than 60 years, and serving as post adjutant for 30 years.
    Survivors include a son, Galen Michael "Mike" Lohrmeyer, and wife, Judy, Russell; a daughter, Ann Michelle Snyder, and husband, Dale, La Crosse; a brother, Joseph Francis Lohrmeyer, Logan; a sister, Gertrude Margaret Miller, Pueblo, Colo.; three grandchildren, Jeremy Michael Lohrmeyer, Shawnee, Christina Michelle Lowry, Chanute, and Shawn Nicholas Snyder, Andover; a step-granddaughter; six great-grandchildren, Trinity Paige Lohrmeyer, Trenton Michael Lowry, Dylan Wayne Lowry, Madelynn Elizabeth "Maddy" Lowry, Audra Grace Snyder-Burke and Breanna Suellen Snyder-Burke; and three step-great-grandchildren.
    He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; an infant son, Craig Allen Lohrmeyer; three brothers, John Edward Lohrmeyer, John Bernard Lohrmeyer and Adolph George Lohrmeyer; and two sisters, Mary Elizabeth Miller and Anna Marie Walker.
    Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. John's Catholic Church, Logan; burial in Calvary Cemetery, Densmore.
    Visitation will be from noon to 9 p.m. Sunday, with family present from 6 to 7 p.m. at Logan Funeral Home, Logan.
    A vigil/rosary will be at 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
    Memorials are suggested to St. John's Catholic Church, the Logan Volunteer Fire Department, or the Logan Manor, all of Logan in care of the funeral home.
