Is this Johann Boettcher the same person married to Karoline Rauhut? And is her last name Raugust/Rauhut?? Am thinking they are the same couple. Only problem would be that Marie, daughter of Karoline Raugust, was born 25 Mar 1845 in Kulm. (Boettcher, Maria 25 Mar 1845 Kulm Johann Raugust, Karolina 1882636/2 48 22)
And Michael Wiest shows a daughter Justine born to Karoline Rauhut in 22 Jul 1845 in Leipzig. (Boettcher, Justina 22 Jul 1845 Leipzig Johann Rauter, Karolina 1882636/2 50 9)
Not sure why the Justina born 1845 would be born in Leipzig and the other children were all born in Kulm. Perhaps she doesn’t belong to this family.
Burk Huey believes Marie’s mother to be Karoline Rauhut of the unrelated (to Raugust line) Rauhut family from Leipzig, Bessarabia.
