Robert L. Myers, 86, of Brethren Village and formerly of East Petersburg, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 5, 2011 surrounded by his loving family at Hospice of Lancaster County, Mount Joy.
Born March 15, 1925 in East Petersburg, he was the son of the late Lloyd B. and Mamie (Cooper) Myers. He was married to the late Eva (Lehman) Myers, who died in 2002 and the late Dorothy L. (Myers) Myers, who died in 1976.
He was the former owner of the Lloyd B. Myers Son, Paint and Paperhanging, East Petersburg.
Bob was a graduate of the former East Hempfield High.
He was a member of the Manheim Lodge #587 F. & A.M., the Lancaster Lodge of Perfection and the Harrisburg Consistory. He also was a member of the Zembo Shrine, the Lancaster County Shrine Club and the Tall Cedars of Lebanon Forest #27.
Bob was a member of the East Petersburg Fire Company and the East Petersburg Hiking Club for many years.
He will be lovingly missed by his three daughters, Sandra M. married to Edward H. Irwin, Dawn M. married to Rodger O. Cook, all of Mount Joy, and Kimberly M. married to Michael D. Smith, of East Petersburg; two step-daughters, Jo Ann married to Ronald Miller and Sandra Holsinger, all of Lancaster; 7 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; 2 step-grandchildren; 2 step-grandchildren and siblings, Richard C. Myers married to Penny and Patricia R. Brady married to Donald.
The family would like to express their gratitude and give special thanks to the Gold Team of Hospice of Lancaster County and the caring staff of Clover Ridge South and Brook Place South at Brethren Village.
A Celebration of Bob's Life will be held at the Andrew T. Scheid Funeral Home, 320 Blue Rock Road, Route 999, Millersville, PA 17551, on ­Friday, November 11, 2011 at 1:30 PM. Private Interment will be held at the convenience of the family in the East Petersburg Mennonite Cemetery, East Petersburg, PA. The casket will be closed. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit with the family at Scheid's on Friday between 12:30 and 1:30 PM. Kindly omit flowers.

Keith Harder, age 73, of Huron, died Sunday, June 20, 2010, at his home. His funeral service was at 11:00 AM, Thursday, June 24th at the St. John's Lutheran Church with Rev. L. Scott Spiehs officiating. Burial was in the Wolsey Cemetery with military rites by the Hershman-Gordon American Legion Post #59 of Wolsey.
Keith Harder was born February 4, 1937, to Frank and Lois (Christopherson) Harder, at Wolsey, South Dakota. He graduated from Wolsey High School in 1955. After graduation Keith entered the United States Marine Corps. He was stationed at Camp Pendleton in California. After being discharged from the Marine Corps, Keith stayed in Lodi, California, where he met Lily Anna Dodge. They were married on July 16, 1961. Keith worked for the United States Postal Service and also did carpentry work.
In 1975, they moved to Iroquois, South Dakota. Keith continued to do carpentry work and worked at the Huron Regional Medical Center. Keith and Lily moved to Huron in 2004.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lily in 2005, his father, Frank in 1998, and his brother, Frank, Jr. in 1958.
Grateful for having shared in his life are his mother, Lois Harder of Huron; his brother, Merle (Janet) Harder of Waubay; and four nephews, Brian (Michelle) Harder of Mt. Zion, Illinois, and Corey (Brenda) Harder, TJ (Marcy) Harder and Adam Harder, all of Groton.

PLEASANT HILL - The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 11, at St. Alice Catholic Church in Springfield for Gary Lee Mikkelsen of Pleasant Hill. He died Oct. 5 of cancer at age 67.
He was born March 17, 1941, in Eugene to Marven and Mildred Mikkelsen. He married Mary Titus on Oct. 30, 1982, in Ashland.
Mikkelsen graduated from Willamette High School in 1959. He attended the University of Oregon and did postgraduate work at Texas A&M University. He worked in sales and marketing of heavy equipment.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Kelli Mikkelsen-Stark of Springfield; two sons, Lewis of Salem and Cameron of Pleasant Hill; a brother, Robert of Eugene; and three grand children. A daughter, Kristi Mikkelsen-Trapp, died previously.
Arrangements by Springfield Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home. Remembrances to St. Vincent de Paul Society or the American Cancer Society.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 14, at Springfield Memorial Gardens for Kristi Mikkelsen Trapp of Eugene, who died Dec. 8 at age 45.
The family chose not the list the cause of death.
She was born Jan. 12, 1962, in Eugene to Gary and Helen Mikkelsen. She married James Trapp in Eugene.
She held a bachelors degree in journalism from the University of Oregon. She worked as a research assistant at the Department of Chemistry and Materials Science Institute.
Survivors include a son, Mason of Eugene; her mother; her father and stepmother, Gary and Mary Mikkelsen; a sister, Kelli Stark of Springfield; and a brother, Cameron Mikkelsen of Pleasant Hill.
A celebration of life is planned for January. Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene. In lieu of flowers, remembrances to Mason James Trapp Scholarship Fund at any SELCO branch.

Louise Marie Scheffelmaier, 76, Elgin, died Oct. 1, 1998, in a Bismarck hospital. Services will be 10 a.m. MDT Tuesday at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Elgin, with the Rev. Nancy Jaster officiating. Burial will be in Peace Lutheran Cemetery, Heil.
Visitation will be from 1-8 p.m. MDT today and 1-8 p.m. MDT Monday, both at Evanson-Jensen Funeral Home, Elgin, and for one hour prior to the service at the church on Tuesday.
Serving as casketbearers will be Gerald and Norman Roth, Douglas Rivinius, Ronald Fuchs, James Heim and Myles Stoller.
Louise Marie Birkholz was born on Oct. 19, 1921, north of Elgin on the Birkholz farmstead, the daughter of Gottlieb and Marie (Weiss) Birkholz. As a young woman, she worked for many families as a helper and many years for the Vandenburg's in Lark.
She married Otto Scheffelmaier on May 31, 1939, at Peace Lutheran Church in Heil. Louise loved sewing, gardening, canning and raising chickens, and up until the time of her failing health, she was very active in all of these.
She also loved cats and kittens. Louise worked at the Heil and Elgin Schools and the Drive-In in Elgin. She taught Sunday School in Heil and Elgin for many years.
She is survived by her husband, Otto; four daughters and sons-in-law, Jolette and Ronn Fuchs, Jamestown, Joleen and Doug Rivinius, Elgin, and Audrey and Norman Roth, and Coleen and Gerald Roth, all of Mandan; one sister, Esther Klein, Elgin; her grandchildren, Chuck and Carol Roth, Michele and Jerry Trotter, Stace and Melissa Roth, LeAnn and Scott Osadchuk, Nicole and Cory Mack, Jill Roth, Ryan Rivinius, Josh Rivinius, Timothy and Tammi Fuchs, and Amy and Ryan Tarno; her great-grandchildren, Benjamin, Jessica and Katherine Roth, Dylan Tarno and Zachary and Ellen Trotter; and many other relatives and friends.
Louise was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers; two sisters; one son, Otto Joel; and one daughter, Vickie Lee. (Evanson-Jensen Funeral Home, Elgin)

Charles S. Daley, 75, of 240 Orchard Circle, died Monday, Nov. 24, 1997, at Waynesboro Hospital, Waynesboro, Pa. Born Jan. 15, 1922, in Greencastle, he was the son of the late Charles R. and Edna B. Dentler Daley. He worked as a route salesman for Capitol Bakers in Chambersburg, Pa., from 1943 to 1955. From 1956-1963 he operated Daley's Sunoco Service Station in Greencastle and owned and operated Hagerstown Kitchen Cabinets in the early 1960s. Earlier he worked for Greencastle Cannery and Omwake and Oliver Elevator in Greencastle. He was a police officer in Greencastle, and was chief of police from 1973 until his retirement in 1979. He was a member of Greencastle Church of the Brethren. He was a member of Rescue Hose Co. No.1, Greencastle, Harry D. Zeigler Veterans of Foreign War of Greencastle, and Fraternal Order of Police Tri-County Lodge No. 76. He is survived by his wife, Hazel E. Pittman Daley, whom he married June 6, 1942; four daughters, Patricia A. Clower of Bunker Hill, W.Va., Barbara Stoner of Clarksville, Tenn., Ginger E. McDonough of Greencastle, and Susan M. Black of Melbourne, Fla.; three sisters, Mildred Plum and Viola Plum, both of Greencastle, and Lorraine Helfrick of Waynesboro, Pa.; two brothers, Ellis F. Daley of Greencastle and Russell E. Daley of Waynesboro; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by an infant son, Charles Kenneth Daley; an infant daughter, Nancy Lou Daley; one brother, Alvin Daley; and two sisters, Janet Barnhart and Hazel Bowser. Services will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Harold M. Zimmerman and Son Funeral Home, 45 S. Carlisle St., Greencastle. The Rev. Charles A. Schroer will officiate. Burial will be in Shank's Church of the Brethren Cemetery, near Greencastle. The family will receive friends Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of one's choice."
