Barbara at the age of almost 5 with her parents and siblings; Katherina, Jacob and Karolina, immigrated to America via the Port of Bremen, Germany aboard the SS "America" and arrived at the Port of New York, New York via the Port of Baltimore, Maryland on the 5th of June 1889. Barbara SAYLER married Jacob FORDERER on the 2nd of December 1902 in Wishek, McIntosh, North Dakota. This union was blessed with 14 children. NOTE: The 11 days of Barbara's birth date discrepancy can be attributed to the fact that the Russian Empire did NOT adopt the "Gregorian Calendar" until February 1918. Therefore, prior to this date by utilizing the "Julian Calendar" their entire populace was recording birth, death and marriage dates that were 10 to 13 calendar days behind the dates of what the majority of the world was recording!
