Karolina is not shown in the Albert Eisenbeiß book. The St. Petersburg records show the birth of a child on 4 November 1847 to Ludwig Schmidt and Christina Aipperspach. However no name is shown for this child in the Pixel data. The original St. Petersburg record (FHL#1882639-1-220-026) should be checked to see if there is a name given and to verify that the child was female.
