Born May 20, 1918, at Mercersburg, she was a daughter of the late Bliss and Elizabeth Pine Lynch. Catherine worked at the former Stanley Company for over 40 years. She was a member of VFW #6241 Ladies Auxiliary, Mercersburg, and AARP. She enjoyed crochet, collecting bells, flowers, reading and bingo. Her husband, Samuel M. Pittman, died January 7, 1995. Surviving family include two daughters, Eileen L. Sharar and Gloria D. "Dean" Sheffield, both of Mercersburg; a son, Bliss L. "Butch" and wife Ella Mae Pittman of Chambersburg; a brother, Lloyd Lynch of Mercersburg; 10 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by two daughters, Lorraine LaMaster and Loretta "Hun" Pittman; a son-in-law, Charles "Gabby" Sharar; and two sisters and three brothers. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday March 29 at Lininger-Fries Funeral Home, Inc., Mercersburg, with Pastor Michael Sanders officiating. Burial will be at Pine Grove Cemetery, Mercersburg. Mrs. Norris was a founder and former program director for the Armstrong County Herb Group. She enjoyed gardening, bird watching, and the study of medicinal herbs.Mrs. Norris is survived by a son, Samuel David Norris of Pittsburgh; a daughter, Virginia Ann Wells of Killeen, TX; a stepson, Ronald K. Norris of Philadelphia; a son-in-law, Randall Tost of Ford City, seven grandsons, Jason, Jeremy, Seth, and Benjamin Tost, Kirk and Matthew Norris, and Richard Trulli; three granddaughters, Amanda Wolfe, Samantha Brown, and Michelle Trulli; two stepgrandchildren, Kristi Christman and Leslie Norris; five great-grandsons, Zachary Michael Wolfe, Cameron Jacob Wolfe, Gavin Robert Tost, River John Tost, and Thomas Neal Hoppe; and two step-great-grandchildren, Morgan and Brian Christman.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ivan Kidwell Norris, whom she married on June 21, 1946, and who died in 1970; a daughter, Emily Susan (Norris) Tost in 2000; and a brother, Baylor BeDunnah.Friends will be received on Tuesday, March 3, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., in the WELCH FUNERAL HOME, 1032 Fourth Avenue, Ford City, where funeral services will be held on Wednesday March 4, 2009 at 11:00 a.m., with her grandson, Jason Tost, officiating. Pastor Randy Battey will officiate. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Ella died on Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at the Sanford Aberdeen Medical Center. Visitation will be on Friday, March 28, 2014 from 1:00-7:00 pm with family present from 5:00-7:00 pm at Spitzer-Miller Funeral Home, 1111 S. Main Street, Aberdeen. Ella Feiock was born on February 25, 1921 near Leola, SD to Fred and Emma (Kurle) Feiock. This is the area where she grew up and attended rural school. On March 9, 1943 she married Ted Steinwandt at Leola. They made their home on a farm near Leola until 1970 when they moved to Aberdeen. She was a homemaker and also worked for several families cleaning houses until she retired in 2007. Ted died on June 11, 1984 at Aberdeen. Ella loved attending Calvary Baptist Church and was an active member. She really loved spending time with her grandchildren. She also loved watching pastors on TV and listening to Gospel music. Grateful for having shared Ella's life are her sons, Terry Steinwandt and Tim (Kristie) Steinwandt of Aberdeen, grandchildren, Lauren, Joshua and Katelyn, siblings, Elmer Feiock, Leo (Lois) Feiock and Ruby (Elmer) Ketterling all of Aberdeen, several nieces and nephews. He was born in San Francisco and came to Lodi in 1946. He married Leona Hieb in 1947. He owned and operated Vic Myer's Sheet Metal Shop for the last 25 years. When he first came to Lodi, he played baseball with the Guild Wine tetam, and he was active in local bowling leagues. He was a member of Parnassis Presidio Lodge No. 388 Scottish Rite. He is survived by his wife, Leona Guglimetti of Lodi; his mother, Claudine Klies of Lodi; a brother, Norris Guglimetti of San Francisco; two step-broter, George Kliest and Warren Kliest. She attended Harmony Grove Grammar School and graduated from Lodi Union High School in 1937, she was an active member the school band. She graduated from Goodrich Beauty School in Stockton and worked for a short time as a Beautician in 1938. In 1947 she met and married Frank Guglimetti, formerly of San Francisco, at the Zion Reformed Church in Lodi; they made their home in Lodi. Although they had no children of their own, their lives were filled with the joy of 6 nieces and nephews; of whom they derived a lot of love and pleasure and much interest in all of their activities throughout their lives. Leona and Frank enjoyed a wonderful married life of 31 years; during which they built a business, Vic Myers Sheet Metal in Lodi until 1978 when Frank became ill and passed away. Leona continued to live in Lodi until her passing on December 27, 2010. She was a life-time member of Zion Reformed Church, serving as a Deacon for 2 years. She was a past President of the Lodi Garden Club, a member of various Bridge Clubs, and a member of the Widows Club. Leona is survived by her sister Dolores Munro of Lodi, Nieces; Claudine (Loren) Seibel of Lodi, Cindy (Stan) Spurr of Van Vleck, TX, Cheryl (Dick) Bitzer of Discovery Bay, and Mary Hieb of Mercer Island, WA., Nephews; Jim (Karen) Munro, and Calvin (Lorie) Hieb both of Lodi. She was preceded in death by her brother; Clifford Hieb in April of 2010. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, January 4th, 10:30 a.m. at Lodi Funeral Home, Pastor Matt Duerr of Zion Reformed Church will officiate. Burial will be private at Leona's request.
