| 134897 | www.findagrave.com: www.findagrave.com/memorial/67901357/petter-haller Source: Gilreath, Amelia Cleland, HALLER - HOLLAR - HOLLER GENEALOGY, (Nokesville, Virginia 1981), pp.7-12. Petter arrived in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on the Ship Samuel, 17 Aug. 1733, with his parents, at the age of 18. By tradition, Petters' wife's name was Ann, However, on a Land Deed in Berks Co., Pennsylvania, it is given as Dorothy. Probably Ann Dorothea. Petter and Dorothy lived in Lancaster County Pennsylvania several years before migrating to Shenandoah County (then Frederick County), Virginia. Petter lived with his son, Henry, on Narrow Passage Run in his old age. He died in 1799 and is buried in the Hollar graveyard on the hill, three miles west of Woodstock, Virginia near Calvary. Petter had several Land Warrents and Deeds in Pennsylvania before coming to Shenandoah Co., Virginia where his first Land Warrant was for 372 acres on both sides of Stoney Creek, in 1761. It is probable that Petter was married twice as his children were born over a thirty years span. It seems unlikely one mother could have produced all of his children. The first five children would have been Dorothy's as she was living in 1754. | Haller, Peter I. (I207223)

| 134899 | www.findagrave.com: www.findagrave.com/memorial/68139090/willard-james-eisenbraun Willard "Bill" Eisenbraun passed away on Saturday April 25th, 2009, at Sanford Medical Center after a brief and courageous battle with cancer. Bill was born to Herbert and Ida Eisenbraun in Sioux Falls, SD on March 17th 1954, and was the youngest of three children. When Bill was thirteen years old, his father bought him his first motorcycle. This gift inspired Bill's lifelong passion and enthusiasm for motorcycles. During the Vietnam War, Bill enlisted in the Marines with the hopes of serving, but was disappointed to receive a medical discharge before being given the opportunity to fight for his country. He later moved to Los Angeles where he attended the Los Angeles Area Technical School and graduated with a degree in Mechanics. After returning to Sioux Falls in 1980, Bill joined the Yellow Cab Company where he worked as a driver and Shop Foreman for over ten years. He also operated his own business as a motorcycle mechanic. Fifteen years ago, Bill met Cindy Phelps, who quickly became the love of his life. Together they built an antique business, which they maintained until Bill's passing. Bill and Cindy enjoyed their years together camping, fishing, and traveling. One of their happiest times was spent biking along the Florida Keys in 2007. Bill was preceded in death by both of his parents, Herb and Ida, and his sister, Jane. He is survived by his fiancé Cindy Phelps, his sister Judy Drobeck, his daughter Erica Mays, grandson Cash Mays, nieces Amy Brandeberry and Doris Schumacher, great nephews and nieces Matthew Drobeck, and Brendan and Alena Schumacher, and last but not least, his best canine friend, Bailey. Bill's free spirit, caring heart, and unique sense of humor will be greatly missed. Visitation will begin at 3 pm with the family present from 5 to 7 pm Tuesday April 28, 2009, at Miller Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 2 pm on Wednesday April 29, 2009, at the Miller Funeral Home Chapel, 13th & Main. | Eisenbraun, Willard James (I202019)
