He was born October 11, 1913 to Henry and Elizabeth (Pfalzgraff) Kitzman in Loveland. On December 18, 1934, he married Sarah Schmierer in Greeley. Mr. Kitzman was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and the Brighton Elks Lodge. He worked as a car salesman for numerous years, was Master Welder for Timpte Bros., in Denver and also owned and operated a farm inplemnt dealership in Fort Lupton. He loved to bowl and golf. He was an umpire for baseball and softball. He enjoyed shooting his shotgun and loved to hunt small game. Reuben was a loving husband and father. He loved people and enjoyed there company. Survivors are his wife, Sarah, of Brighton, three sons: Stanley of Haines, Oregon, Lee of Corvallis, Oregon, and Rick of Denver; two daughters, Liz Hamilton of Sun City West, Arizona and Wilma Vigil of Bellevue, Washington; four brothers; Art of Tacoma, Washington, Elmer of La Salle, August of Brighton, and Edwin of Broomfield; five sisters, Emma Kruchburg, of Loveland, Olinda Sweeney of Evans, Elsie Sitzman of Greeley, Esther Messman of Lakewood and Lillian DeCarolis of Tempe, Arizona; seven grandchildren and six great-granchildren. His parents and a brother are deceased. Funeral Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, December 26 at Zion Lutheran Church, 1400 Skeel St., in Brighton. Mrs. Ochsner (nee Kitzmann) was born in Rohrbach, Russia on November 15, 1869, and died at Sutton, August 7, 1933, aged 63 years, 8 months, 22 days. She was married to Johan A. Ochsner in 1889 and in 1901 the family came to Sutton. Mr. Ochsner died September 13, 1921. Survivors of eleven children are: Mrs. Harry E. Robinson, of Lincoln, and Mrs. Freda Reiter of Sutton, daughters: and John A. Ochsner of Sutton, a son: there are six grandchildren, four brothers and two sisters. Funeral serice was held Thursday afternoon at the First Reformed Church, conducted by the Pastor Rev. Paul Traeger, who spoke from ROM. 12:12. The song service was by the choir. She died last Wednesday at Salina Regional Medical Center. Eilene attended elementary school in Webber and graduated from Superior High School, Superior, NE in 1952. She worked in various positions at People's National Bank until retirement as senior vice president and comptroller in 1997. She continued her employment at New Century Bank as an auditor in 2005 until a recent hospitalization. She was united in marriage to Marvin J. McDill on Aug. 10, 1963. Eilene brought her sons, Richard Alan Sholtz and Michael Wayne Metzler, to this union. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Marian Ault, Bernice Lawson, and twin, Evelyn Crook; grandparents, William Windsor and Mary Ellen (Vale) Gunn and William Sherman and Elizabeth Margery (Ireland) Dick. She is survived by her husband, Marvin; children, Richard and Michael; grandchildren, Jeremy Sholtz, Kelly Eilene (Sholtz) Frazier, and Kaitlin (Metzler) Buonfiglio; great-grandchildren, Hailey and Hayden Frazier and Dylan and Rylee Sholtz; and a sister, Kathleen Cramer. At the time of her death she was an active member of the First Baptist Church in Belleville, Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR), Beta Sigma Phi and was a charter member of the Nebraska State Twins Association. Her hobbies included racing, genealogy and time with her family and friends. Kelly Sholtz-Frazier said "Don't cry because she died, smile because she lived!" Her funeral was held Saturday at the First Baptist Church, Belleville, with Pastor John Lewis officiating. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery, Superior. He later worked for IBM as a buyer for 37 years. Melvin married Diana (McKinney) February 12, 1983 in Denver, Colorado. Melvin also served our country proudly in the United States Air Force. Melvin enjoyed the mountains, fishing, and camping. He was a member of the Front Range Baptist Church in Fort Collins. Family Melvin is survived by his loving wife Diana Klundt; son Morris Klundt; daughters Sheena Klundt, Rhonda Klundt, Vanessa Hudson (Sid), Kelly Waggoner (Keith), Tamara Monroe (Gary), Shelley Suggett; brothers Dick Klundt (Elaine), Karl Klundt (Eloise); sister Barbara Jean Cosper; 14 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Anna married Jacob Reich (1770-1827) in Feb 1796 at Friedberg, Stokes (now Forsyth) County, North Carolina. Anna and Jacob were the parents of seven known children, four girls and three boys, namely: 1. Johanna Salome Reich (1797-???) 2. Philip Reich (1799-1870) 3. Benjamin Reich (1801-1863) 4. Anna Maria Reich (1805-???) 5. Johann (John) Peter Reich (1808-1883) 6. Elizabeth Reich (1809-1811) 7. Catherine Reich Weavil (1812-1883) The burial locations for the daughters Johanna and Anna are not known. The family moved from Pennsylvania to the "Stinking Quarter" near the Haw River in Orange County, North Carolina in 1765 or 1766 and then moved to near Salem, Stokes (now Forsyth) County, North Carlina in 1784. Christoph drowned near Staunton, Virginia while crossing the Staunton River while on a journey back to Pennsylvania for some reason. It is not known where Christoph is buried. Jacob married Anna Maria Rothrock (1773-1844) in Feb 1796 at Friedberg, Stokes (now Forsyth) County, North Carolina. After Barbara died, Jacob Sr. remarried to the widow Mrs. Phillipina Sabine (went by Sabine) Krause Fensler (1749-1816 (or 1795?)) on 04 Sep 1792 at Bethabara, Stokes (now Forsyth) County, North Carolina. Michael married Christina Ebert (1782-1844) on 23 Oct 1804 at Stokes (now Forsyth) County, North Carolina. Michael and Christina were the parents of ten known children; eight boys and two girls. Nine of the ten children reached maturity. The ten children were: 1. Christian Ludwig Rominger (1806-1885) 2. Joshua Rominger (1808-1902) 3. Charles William Rominger (1810-1897) 4. Henry E. Rominger (1813-1910) 5. Henrietta Rominger (1813-1813) 6. Frederick Rominger (1817-1905) 7. Charlotte Louisa Rominger Charles (1818-1908) 8. Michael Rominger (1820-1907) 9. Nathaniel Rominger (1821-1908) 10. Alfred Edward Rominger (1824-1895) Michael and Christina Rominger had 67 known grandchildren. The three children whose burial locations are not known are: 2. Joshua Rominger (1808-1902) who married Mary B. (or Mary Vivian?) Hubbard (1818-1897) and lived at Watauga County, North Carolina. 5. Henrietta Rominger (1813-1813), twin sister to Henry Rominger. She died at birth. 9. Nathaniel (went by Nathan) Rominger (1821-1908), who married 1) Emeline Greer (1827-1859) and then 2) Isabelle Waugh (1821-1908).
