William Ackerman, 78, Eureka, died Monday, November 24, 1986, in the Ipswich Hospital.
Services at 10:30 a.m. Saturday from United Methodist Church, Eureka, with the Reverend Richard Gould of Eureka and three nephews, the Reverends Peter Ackerman, Luke Miller and Kenneth Boschee officiating. Burial in Eureka City Cemetery.
William was born at Greenway, son of Carolina Perman and Peter Sr. Ackerman. William and Sarah Wiest were married October 05, 1937, at Zeeland, North Dakota. They farmed north of Greenway until moving into Eureka in 1973
Survived by his wife of Eureka and a brother, Emil of Eureka.
Preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and two brothers.
Casket bearers were Oscar Ulmer, Clarence Bender, Albert Heupel, James Ackerman, Milo Levi and Alvin Wiest. Mrs. Leslie Rau organist and Mr. and Mrs. William Merkel sang.
