Information from obituary of Glorene Augusta H (Dirks) Sayler Glorene graduated from Winona Teachers College in Winona, Mn and in 1920 she moved to ND and taught rural school at Benedict and Underwood areas. After she married John Sayler they made their home on a farm southwest of Underwood, ND until he died in 1958. Glorene continued to maker her home on the farm for a short time and then moved to Stillwater, MN where she worked at a nursing home. Three years later she moved back to Underwood, and then to Garrison where she made her home at the Garrison Manor. In 1983 she became a resident of the Prairieview Nursing Home in Underwood.
