The birth record for Andreas is found in the St. Petersburg Records for The Rohrbach Parish on LDS Microfilm # 1895624/1 pg 727, Reg 37. ! Information from the Venturia, ND Jubilee Book 1901-1951 pgage 58. Andreas immigrated to America with his parents and family in 1894 arriving at Freeman, SD. The family then moved 12 miles north and 2 miles east of Eureka, SD where they established their new home in America. Andreas and his wife Christina had 11 children, 2 of which were stillborn and one died at age 3. After their marriage they farmed for 7 years and then moved to the village of Venturia. With his brother, Christian, Andreas formed a partnership in the farm implement business. After some years Andreas bought his brothers share of the business and operated it until 1942 when he retired.
