Information from book "Hebron, ND Our Heritage 1885-1985" page 152 and from Robert Fischer of Vancouver, WA Robert spent some time in the US Navy and in 1951 graduated from the University of Montana. He worked with Montana & North Dakota Fish and GameDepartments as a Wildlife Biologist and since 1956 he worked with the US Fish and Wildlife Service. During his career he has lived in Idaho, Minnesota, Oregon and Washington. He has worked with 19 State Fish and Game Departments and several Pacific Trust Territories in the administration of wildlife research and management programs. He has served in various capacities from Nominations chairman to President of the Oregon Chapter and NW Section of the The Wildlife Society.
