  Ruth Davidson: From Robert Burkart: Henry (8th oldest) from a family of thirteen, parents' Chistopher & Justine Burkart came from Antelope, North Dakota. In May 15, 1911, Chris and Henry purchased land SW of Fox Valley, SK. The farming life started in Canada. Bertha washed/repaired linen/clothes for the local hotel in Fox Valley. They had no vehicle for transportation, the horses and tractor were their transportation. Henry didn't go to war, because of his statement of belief that he was a Mennonite Brethern, he stayed back. Henry took care of the farm and raised a family of two.
