OBITUARY
Bismarck Tribune.
Esther Woehl, 90, Bismarck, died peacefully on July 5, 2009, at Medcenter One Living Center, Mandan. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 8, at Bismarck Community Church, with the Rev. Maury Millican officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Bismarck.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.
Esther was born July 5, 1919, in Wishek, the daughter of John and Katherine Sprenger. She married Albert Woehl on Nov. 21, 1937, in Wishek. They farmed southwest of Wishek until 1957, when they moved to Bismarck. Esther was employed as a housecleaning lady and then went to work for Albright's Frozen Foods and Armour's Meat Packing Plant.
Esther is survived by her two daughters, Geraldine (Leonard) Christensen, Bismarck, and Joane (Ralph) Hanson, Arizona; four grandchildren, Rhonda (Doug) Leet, Bismarck, Darby (Linda) Christensen, Arizona, Stacey (Pat) Heising, Minnesota, and Ross (Kristina) Hanson, Utah; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; and her parents.
